Good news …. A date has been launched in the government’s “opening plan”. Indoor sports should be possible again from May 11th. That could be good news for us and it would mean that we can finally start counting down !!!!
BUT …….. Of course there is a lot of uncertainty because everything will now depend on the numbers of new corona patients who are admitted to hospitals. From now on, we will keep you informed of the developments every week.

Will the “third wave” engulf us or will the vaccinations make the difference? We can only wait patiently for the green light! …. Keep your courage dear Avalon members! Fortunately, the adjustment of the curfew will give some enlightment.
We will also temporarily keep Saturdays open a little longer on the fitness square (see reservation agenda).
To ensure that everything on the fitness square runs as smoothly as possible, we want to emphasize that it is very important that you keep a close eye on the rules:
- Do not come to exercise more than 3 times a week.
- Remove your reservation from the calendar if you are unable to attend (pencil icon).
- Always tidy everything up after use.

Another press conference behind us … Summary: patience, patience and more patience! The corona measures that the government has taken for outdoor sports do cause some confusion. As we understand it, an individual athlete can do his or her thing outside without restrictions (like fitness) and people that train together as a team in competitive sports, are permitted to train in groups of max. 2 people and after March 16 in groups of max. 4 people.
We have had the first “fitnessplein” week and that was great. We would like to emphasize that it is important that you cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend. In this way we make the best possible use of the limited places and we help each other!
